Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
David Rudd
David Rudd lives in Lancashire, England and is a retired professor literature. He has published short fiction prolifically.
“Loco Pete’s Leap” will surely amuse readers as a modern take on stories about the American Wild West combined with a tongue-in-cheek satire on the motivation of currency speculation. Just as Loco Pete becomes a ghostly spirit causing even a blasé tourist to trade avariciously in gold, one may expect future stories to depict modern Loco Petes whispering into the ears of passersby slogans about speculating in imaginary currencies and non-fungible tokens.
