Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Lev Raphael
Lev Raphael has published more than two dozen books, including story collections, in genres ranging from memoir to mystery to horror. Michigan State University has acquired all his works for its Special Archives, and he has been invited to teach creative writing at Leipzig University.
“Lost in London” is a serial complete on line as of its first instalment in issue 987. The story is narrated by an English literature professor from Michigan who is in charge of a study-abroad summer term in London. The account is full of local colour, and yet readers will be ultimately faced with questions of reality: Is the narrator merely a professor or are there important facts about him that we don’t know? And can we be sure that we — and he — know where he really is?
