Bewildering Stories biography

I had a non-fiction article published during the late 60’s after which I took a 40-year hiatus from writing. During that time I became a commercial fisherman plying the waters of the Pacific Northwest for fifteen years and after which I was the CEO of a large fishing company for a number of years. Over the last two decades I owned and managed a manufacturing company that continues to make food for fish, dogs and cats.

Lately I found I had something to say, and my interest in writing was revitalized. I am lucky to have my fiction published in magazines such as Word Riot, Ascent Aspirations, The Oddville Press, Tryst3, Caper Literary Journal, Prick of the Spindle, Dark Gothic Resurrected, the National Post, Word Salad, Callused Hands and a few others. There is a new story coming out in Stymie Magazine, a periodical dedicated to sport literature.

My wife and I live in North Vancouver, Canada with our two dogs named Tahoe and Who and our cat named Binny. Who was rescued from living in a cage for a year and Binny was saved from drowning inside a big grain silo. Tahoe is a blue heeler with a flaw. All three animals won the Lotto.

I developed the habit of writing in the middle of the night when things are quiet and the mind races. Maybe something good will come of it.
