Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Greg Hansen
Greg’s story in this issue, “Cross Contact,” has a story of its own in the title. It started out as “Altered States,” but we’ve printed another story by another author with almost exactly the same title. And the title didn’t seem to fit Greg’s story. We tossed any number of ideas back and forth, and yet none quite seemed satisfactory. But the important part is that we had a lot of fun with it.
That experience — as well the story and Greg’s biographical sketch — tell us something: our impression is that Greg is conventional only on the surface. He’s cheerful, open-minded, intellectually curious, and optimistic. And that he’s also kind-hearted and generous. One thing we do know: he has a talent for writing dramatic tales!
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Greg. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
