Katherine Mezzacappa

Katherine is originally from Ireland but now lives in Carrara, Italy. She has published fiction — primarily historical and romance works — voluminously under at least four different names. She has advanced degrees in the History of Art, English Literature, and Creative Writing. She serves as an editor in various capacities for several literary journals and societies.

“The Dome” will take readers with the narrator on a kind of journey of discovery. What is the Dome? What does it do? Why is the narrator in it? For that matter, why is anybody in it? Perhaps the Victorian architecture and the strict denial of sexuality are clues that the narrator is in a place that only romance novels can begin to examine objectively. Or maybe... Readers, fascinated, will stay on the page with the author and determine the answers for themselves.
