Bewildering Stories

Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Bill Turner

Bill Turner was a writer by trade: a columnist in newspapers and on line. Now he’s a writer by vocation specializing in short fiction. Bewildering Stories is proud to have his first work of speculative fiction in this issue: “Statements of Fact.”

Bill, we haven’t received very many psychic or paranormal stories besides your own; notable exceptions: Fran Jacobs’ and Susan Jane’s stories. But since you say you like werewolf and vampire stories, I recommend “Hexaflexagon 8191” as well as “The Soul Hunter,” which began in issue 97. Those are our two most recent in the genre, I think. We’ve also published serials somewhat reminiscent of Star Trek, so there’s plenty here to delight as well as officially Bewilder you!

But please don’t stop there! We sure don’t: the editors’ first love is science fiction, but our vision is broad, even Hubblesque, and the writing in Bewildering Stories frequently coincides with your taste for mainstream fiction.

Now, readers, please check out Bill’s biographical sketch. And Bill, welcome to Bewildering Stories. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
