Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Ronin Fox
Ronin describes himself succinctly as a sneaky sort.
“To the Bone” is a prose farce that will be best appreciated by readers who are familiar with the works of the 15th-century “good doctor,” François Rabelais. However, the Gargantuan figure in the story is more a figure of turn-of-the-21st-century capitalism than of Renaissance Humanism. The sign of the times might be, “Now, 500 years after we’ve gotten wise, let’s get rich.”
