Howard Blaise

Howard Blaise is a martial arts instructor and aspiring writer. He lives in Alaska, where polar night is his favourite time of the year. Howard also claims ownership of a Husky that, he says, has too much recent wolf ancestry to be legal. Somehow we doubt that anyone will come looking for Howard on that account.

In “The Cairn Years” a fantastical god of war is confronted with different and valid challenges to his depredations. He finally yields to a version of the observation raised in real life by a famous scientist: World War 3 will be fought with nuclear weapons and World War 4, with sticks and stones.
