Challenge 123
Knight to Queen’s Bishop 3
Julian Lawler has put a lot of men on the chessboard of Battle Seer. Some, like Palance Demondread and Father Rayul, appear to be major pieces. Others, like the Hunters, seem to play more the role of pawns. And the game itself looks like a form of Kriegspiel, which is based on the “fog of war”: you can see only your own pieces and must guess or deduce one by one where your opponent’s must be.
Who are the major players so far? Where are they? Who are their opponents? As the saying goes, “You can’t tell the players without a scorecard.” Can someone make one up for us?
