Spinning In Place
by Jerry Wright
Lewis Carroll described my recent life quite exquisitely with his portrayal of "the Red Queen's Race". I am running madly trying to stay where I am. In fact, the entire concept of "getting ahead" seems to be without meaning. Eventually things WILL be better; in fact I see light at the end of the tunnel. Is it an on-coming train? Guess I'll find out.Bob Blevins is determined to make his publishing venture succeed. www.discountebooks.net is now his new home, and potentially ours as well. We've been wanting to put together a retrospective of BwS material, and this looks quite appropriate. All it takes is time. And it looks like I'll have some time to devote to this in the next couple of weeks. So we'll see. (Note to Bob... I'll be calling you next week...)
In the meantime, Don, as usual is keeping all the plates spinning in the air, and despite my occasional stumble into the juggler/jugular, all is actually working. Amazing, again!
Enjoy our fine variety of writers, and remember... "they are out to get you..." "They"? Yeah. You remember... "Them"...
Take care.
