Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Seth Mullins
One of our newest contributors, Seth Mullins, found an interest in fantasy and mythology at a young age and has been following it ever since. He has been exploring what might be called spirit journeys in both ancient mythologies and modern fantasy, hence his short article in this issue on the transformation of the hero in modern fantasy. The subject is vast, and I’ve opined to Seth that the article might serve as an abstract of a thesis.
Seth has published Song of an Untamed Land, “a novel of speculative fantasy in lawless frontier territory.” He thus has a lot in common with at least two of our contributors. I fondly imagine publishing two discussions: one with Seth and Tala Bar, who has approached mythology more from an anthropological viewpoint in her articles and fiction; and another with Seth and Bob Sellers, who has published a series of “weird wild west” stories with us.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Seth. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
