Contest 2: Voting is now open. The rules have been altered to give you more choice: you now have ten votes in the Longer division. To avoid confusion, the voting deadline has been extended slightly; it will end with the appearance of issue 189. The Contest index will be updated to list the winners as soon as the results are official.

Quarterly Review: The Editors’ Choices for the first quarter of 2006 will appear next week. The selections will come from issues 176 through 188. We will resume regular publication with issue 189 on March 20. Our second quarterly review will cover issues 189 through 201.
