Christine Lucas

Christine has been writing fantasy and horror for twenty years, and she especially likes to explore the roles animals can play in her stories. Perhaps she gets advice from the cats she has at home. Perhaps they even warn her of “dragon weather,” which is the subject of her poem in this issue. It’s attractive for its mysterious and evocative imagery.
