Jeani Rector

Jeani has a background in young horror fiction: Stephen King, the Addams family... And now she writes the Cat Daniels mysteries for young adults.

“Unmarked Grave,” which begins in this issue, has several classic elements of horror as well as mystery: a setting at about Halloween time, an abandoned graveyard in which Cat is abandoned by a young man whom I suspect Cat will get over fairly soon, and visions and trance states.

Now, what is Cat supposed to do with all this? She doesn’t know yet. We’ll just have to keep tiptoeing back to find out, won’t we? Being careful not to disturb any haunts, of course...
