Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Christine Bruness
Christine comes to us with impressive credentials and multiple talents. Not only has she won over 35 writing awards — including New Jersey Writer of the Year in 2000 — she’s also received a grant from the Meadowlands Commissions for her art work.
We’re very glad to have some of Christine’s haiku in this issue as well as an acrylic painting, “Water Fairy,” and a collage, “Electric Love” in our Art Gallery. That sets something of a record: it’s the first I recall of a double appearance by a new contributor.
In Christine’s day — or night? — job, she teaches English as a second language. She can create her own teaching materials: short poems for the students to read, and art for them to enjoy and describe. Language, poetry and art, all in one class. What an opportunity!
Christine’s bio sketch can be found here.Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Christine. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
