John E. LaCarna

John lives in Louisiana, where he’s a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has a background in journalism and has worked as a probation officer, mental health counselor, and Chief Social Worker in the Louisiana State Forensic Unit. He’s published a wide variety of works in both fiction and non-fiction.

“Warning Signal” is a partly comic, mostly tragic story of a bizarrely planned crime against which an alter ego tries to warn the perpetrator. Who knows: perhaps the plot was influenced by John’s work in real life with the criminally insane.
