Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Lee Morris
Lee hails from east Texas, where she lives in a small town and owns a farm that’s been in her family for quite a while. She’s a psychotherapist and professor by day and has worked in such areas as university administration and the Public Health Service. Lee is also very involved in animal welfare and has written animal stories for the Texarkana Humane Society.
“Javelin Warriors” is both prose poem and short story. Its use of the theme of microminiaturization puts it in the realm of science fiction, where it has a worthy predecessor in Isaac Asimov’s well-known “Fantastic Voyage.” But the poetic center of the story depicts the pride the “warriors’” take in their work of healing.
