Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Gerald Heys
Gerald is from England but lives and works in Prague. He has published works on line.
“Man of the Woods” is a humourous take on a Malay legend according to which the orangutan knows how to speak but refrains from doing so for fear being given a job.
Looking at it from the orangutan’s point of view, would it really matter whether times were good or bad, whether unemployment was high or low? Maybe the orangutan is on to something that the young zookeeper hasn’t quite figured out yet.
Gerald Heys’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Gerald. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
