Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Lindsea L. Hutchinson
Lindsea is currently pursuing a degree in English at Gardner-Webb University, in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. She is a member of her University’s softball team. She writes short stories, poetry and journalism.
“Half Full makes a very clever play on the old saying about a glass being half full or half empty. The poem implicitly examines the role of mystery in a relationship, where the two partners are half-known, half-hidden to each other.
The phrase "So keep your silence golden” refers, of course, to the old saying that "speech is silver but silence is gold.” The implication is, of course, that neither partner ought to do in silence what the other might not want to find out about!
