Bewildering Stories welcomes...
James Vachowski
James works as a quality assurance technician for airport duty-free shops. When he’s not on the go between international airports, he relaxes by writing fiction.
“The Shareholders’ Meeting” recounts a speech ostensibly given by the CEO of a large company. But in the end, the joke is on the reader: the “company” is actually the U.S. government.
The story satirizes contemporary politicans’ cynical use of language to exploit public confusion about the role of government. The story makes an important point, and readers will draw their own conclusions about what that joke implies.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, James. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
