“Logic Is a Halfway House” will present some puzzles for our readers. What is Anton’s history with Sellers, that he should dislike Sellers so much? Why does Sellers cajole Anton into taking part in his experiment? Is Sellers challenged by Anton’s antipathy or is he setting a trap for Anton? Do the women have any other function in the story than to mirror Anton, at the end? And what is Sellers’ experiment designed to do, anyway? Beware, readers, lest ye be drawn in with no hope of escape!
