Merideth Grue

Merideth lives in Michigan. She’s held a number of occupations, some in an administrative capacity. She’s published in journals and on the Net. She says her writing seeks out the strange and, at times, horrific.

“On the Path” introduces Alice, a frustrated, woman who is unaccountably ignored at work and who is acknowledged by only one strange man when she is out jogging in a park. The stranger is Death itself, and that raises a question: when did Alice die?
