Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Richard King Perkins II
Richard King Perkins II has been writing poetry for about six years now. Some of it, he says, is general in nature while some is genre-specific. He has published more than a thousand poems, to date, and has won significant recognition.
“A Few Pages of Elric in the Night” is a prose poem. The title, of course, recalls a line from Henry V. In place of “Harry,” we have Elric, presumably the hero of Michael Moorcock’s stories of Elric of Melniboné. Readers familiar with the fantasy saga may agree with the poet. Readers who are unaware of it will surely find the ekphrastic poem an enthusiastic advertisement.
