Bewildering Stories welcomes...
John Wright
In retirement, John has started writing stories that he’s been thinking of for a while, including some novellas. His muse is music, especially folk, blues and jazz.
“Things Could Be Worse” is a “too late smart” cautionary tale. It's a ghost story where a married couple find themselves in a kind of afterlife. They seem to be stuck between a bucolic paradise and “the other place.” Now, how do they get to the paradise? It turns out to be quite simple, really, though not painless. It’s a gentle reminder to readers not to be in a position to say, “Why didn’t we think of that earlier?”

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, John. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
