Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Simon Hole
Simon lives in rural Rhode Island. A retired schoolteacher, he has published essays and co-authored a book about life in the classroom. He has begun writing short stories, most of which BwS would consider ultra-short or microfiction, i.e. 101 words or less.
“Hot Hand“ uses the “reported narrative” technique to tell the story of a poker game gone bad. Readers will be intrigued to find a story with two villains, one of whom seems to have supernatural powers. In fact, readers may wonder what deviltry they might get up to if armed with a gadget that could let them see through things and maybe blast their way into bank vaults, too.
Simon Hole’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Simon. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
