Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Louanne Woody Ewald
Louanne lives on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She is retired as a secondary-school teacher and real estate broker. She is active in local and state writers’ groups.
“Wake-Up Call” invites readers to live in the moment. And readers will be intrigued by the poem’s premise. Surely most readers will have heard of near-death experiences where someone sees a bright light and is reunited with deceased family and friends. There is no party in this poem. Rather, it explains the old saying: “Everybody wants to go to Heaven, but nobody wants to die.”

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Louanne. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
