Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Keith Davies
Keith Davies lives in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and is a retired Engish teacher and journalist. His short stories are often set in rural Wales or Ireland and have attracted descriptions such as “dark folk” and “edgy edgelands.” Observers may say that a North American equivalent is “Southern gothic,” although the author notes that his stories tend to be poignant rather than shocking.
“Nelly Longarms” will engage readers in a colourful account of haunts frequenting the dark waters of a distant and, perhaps, little-known countryside. They have motives not unlike those of their city cousins, and readers will find, as the author says, that Nelly packs a bite.
