Jared Buck

Jared is from Massachusetts, where he became enamored of fantasy and science fiction at an early age. He has been living with his wife in China for the past ten years and have traveled extensively within that country as well as in North America.

“I’ll See What I Can Do” addresses a tavern-keeper’s woes in a fantastical medieval society where tavern-goers of all classes are typically armed with swords, daggers and bad attitudes. But the story revolves around a sorcerer’s belated realization that the spells of his magic are ineffective in managing crowd control; they work either too well or not at all. Is there a solution? What’s a beleaguered tavern-keeper to do?
