Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Mary Brunini McArdle

You’re not going to believe this: Mary has been a teacher of both poetry and military strategy. That must set a record of some sort. But it’s not surprising when you read Mary’s bio sketch: she has a degree in history and English.

Wait, there’s more: she sings in two choirs, has a number of hobbies and pets, and has a bibliography of published works that is... well... staggering. And many of them have won prizes in all genres of fiction and non-fiction. I’ll have to post her “short” bio sketch for the time being, because it will take a day to format the rest.

Her first contribution to Bewildering Stories, “Peevish Pendulum,” is delightfully ironic: when a mischievous imp on a comet starts playing jokes with time, you’d think he’d end civilization as we know it. But somehow the young ladies in the story seem to manage just fine, with only minor puzzlement.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Mary. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!

Mary’s bio sketch can be found here.
