Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Miguel Ángel López Muñoz
Sr López Muñoz has a degree in mathematics, which he says plays an important part in his stories. He says he began writing about six years ago and has published only recently. The tone of his work is pessimistic, as is that of two of his favorite authors: Harlan Ellison and Stanislaw Lem. He also collaborates regularly with a number of magazines and e-zines.
“The Mirrored World” recounts the story of a Nocturn-hunter who has a love-hate relationship with his prey, a kind of 25th-century vampire named Phellax. The hunter can’t quite bring himself to slay Phellax, and the two continue their chase and flight in a world where they can see each other only in mirrors.
