Bewildering Stories welcomes...
A. T. Sayre
A. T. is from Kansas City and New Hampshire but now lives in Brooklyn. He does freelance video editing and reads in coffeehouses. At university, he majored in Film Production and Philosophy. He’s had some success in publishing fiction.
“I’m Not Robert” is a story based on an unusual theme in science fiction: the personality transplant. If your brain — with all its memories, etc. — were transplanted into an exact replica of your body, would you still be the same person? The story implies an answer, at least for “replicated Robert.” Once he starts thinking about the future rather than the past and about someone other than himself, the answer is yes, he is Robert, but it doesn’t really matter who he thinks he is.
A. T. Sayre’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, A T. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
